Procrastinating
Updated: Jun 11, 2018
Do you procrastinate? Admit it, you do. Don't you? We all do, at least I think we do because I do. My friends do. So you must also. There is comfort in numbers, and comfort in knowing you're not the only one, or at least not the only one to admit it!
The definition of procrastinate: verb (used without object), procrastinated, procrastinating. to defer action; delay: to procrastinate until an opportunity is lost.
I procrastinate taking out the trash. Is it a lost opportunity? Naw, I don't think so, it's still there. What is the difference between procrastinate and lazy? Probably not much.
I procrastiread (procrastinating by reading).
I procrastipaint (procrastinating by painting).
Sometimes, I procrastinate then finally accomplish the task and have to tell myself "see that wasn't so bad, you did it". Yes I know, we all need a pep talk, a cheerleader of sorts even for the most mundane task. (Hint: join our Facebook group for support & encouragement!)
Now, procrastibaking is something I can get behind! I just may procrastibake right now because I'm suppose to be working on a Blog post. But, I'm going in the kitchen to bake!
Why Work When You Can Procrastibake?
